THE Keith Dental Practice handed over a cheque this week to a local cancer support group.
Staff at the practice raised £373 through their winter fundraiser in November and December.
The chosen charities for 2019 were Keith Cancer Link and MFR Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Toy Appeal. A total of 163 gifts were donated to the toy appeal.
Representatives from Keith Cancer Link gratefully accepted the cheque on Tuesday, January 21.
To raise funds, the practice held raffles, sold home bakes and lucky square hamper prizes. Local businesses donated handsomely, including The Dowans Hotel, Spey Valley Brewery, Caorunn Gin and Grant & Geoghan Ltd.
Erin Jellis, practice manager, said: "We would like to thank everyone who supported our winter 2019 fundraiser.
"We were overwhelmed with the donations to our MFR Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Toy appeal.
"All the team at The Keith Dental Practice are delighted to have raised £248.33 for Keith Cancer Link and £124.17, plus the 163 gifts, for MFR Cash for Kids Mission Christmas.
"We felt it was important to support these charities as they both do fantastic work for our local community."
