This fine-looking piece of machinery will be helping to Keith look its best this summer.

The Keith in Flower group was needing a hand with the time-consuming job of keeping all the town's floral baskets and tubs well-watered.

Mechanical whizz Callum Stuart, who lives on Seafield Park, responded by creating a special tank and pump system which attaches to the back of one of his tractors.

Dave Carson, of Keith in Flower, said: "We hope we will put on another beautiful display this year for the town to be proud of.

"The last few years have been a very trying time for us and we've lost a few of our long-standing members. We're a sub group of the Keith Community Council, so put out a plea for help on their Facebook page for new volunteers.

"We're very lucky to have a group of new volunteers and we're ever grateful to Dennis Innes and Alan Mair for their undying help in growing our plants, as well as the local businesses for their ongoing support."
