All Go at Grampian Opportunities Christmas teas

It was all go at Grampian Opportunities (GO), West High Street premises in Inverurie on Saturday.

It was also a golden opportunity to put emphasis on the female volunteers.

So it was Mrs Santa, aka Yvonne Gordon, who welcomed youngsters into her grotto.

Aberdeenshire provost Judy Whyte dropped in to wish everybody Seasons Greetings.

GO member Captain Pushp Vaid was handing out not trinkets but a very useful wee booklet Empower Yourself for Healthy, Joyful Living naturally.

This advice he puts into practice on Friday mornings at GO with his Wellbeing sessions.

He said:" Although breathing of course comes naturally many of us don't do it properly.

"The correct exercises can really make a difference to our wellbeing physical and mental."

Proceeds from Saturdays party raised £700 for the Community larder.
