Turriff And District Men's Shed held their AGM recently in the Rosehall shed.

Chairman Ian Murray reported on another successful year for the Turriff Shed, although numbers have been slow to return following the coronavirus pandemic.

The group has gained a few new members, including its first regular lady member, however new and returning members are still required as the original shedders who formed the shed back in 2015 are now looking for younger replacements to take over.

Anyone interested can pop into the Rosehall shed any weekday morning where you can see what goes on in the Turra shed

The latest machinery purchase is a Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) router engraver machine which was purchased after receiving financial help from Turriff Local Charities (TLC).

The machine is still to be set up but it should be a excellent asset to the shed in the coming years.

The group also received grants and donations from various sources, and members thank all of them for their generosity and also thanks to all of their customers who have purchased goods made or refurbished in the shed.

Secretary Bob Herkes stood down after several years and he was thanked by the shedders for his service to the Turra shed

Office bearers elected were as follows:

Chairman - Ian Murray.

Vice-chairman - Kevin Arnold.

Secretary - Ian Murray.

Treasurer - Stanley Cheyne.
