Action Kintore reflects on supporting local projects

This Monday, December 18 from 7pm, the Bothie in Kintore's Allendale Gardens will host the AGM of Action Kintore to which all are invited.
Action Kintore carries out a wide range of activities such as supporting youth and community projects in the kintore and surrounding area.
This includes supporting the Bothie which has just celebrated its 10th anniversary of providing Youth Club facilities at no cost for eight to 25 year olds in the Kintore area.
Action Kintore are also working on plans to take over the Town House, refurbishing and adding a lift to create a multi purpose community facility.
The group relies on its volunteers and board members and if you have a couple of hours per month, they need help to progress the Town House project and oversee the youth work.

Aside from the youth support the Bothie also provides low-cost community space for community, sports, recreation or family groups and businesses, from £11 to £15 per hour.
