Advisors will be on hand to deal with all customer queries, including payments and validation of documents, at Banff, Fraserburgh, Huntly, Inverurie, Peterhead and Ellon.

All Service Points will be opening in their usual locations except for the Ellon facility, which has moved to its new home of Ellon Library on an appointments-only basis.

Social distancing and restricted customer numbers will be in place at all venues upon re-opening, and appropriate signage and floor markings will be in place for customers.

Service Points will operate as follows-

Customer service points closed temporarily in December and during closure customers were able to continue making cash and cheque payments for council services via the Post Office or by using PayPoint or AllPay facilities.

These alternative options continue to be in place for customers wishing to make cash or cheque payments in any area.

Aberdeenshire Council’s Head of Customer and Digital Services, Kate Bond, said: “We’re very pleased to be reopening our Service Points and would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding while they were closed.

“Social distancing measures will be in place at all our venues, and in the case of Ellon appointments must be made in advance, but more than anything we are looking forward to welcoming people back.”
