A96 near Insch set for two weeks of overnight surfacing improvements

Amey is undertaking overnight surfacing improvements to the A96 near Insch between Monday, February 12 and Saturday 24 along a 1.2km length of A96 north of Pitmachie, between the B992 Insch Junction (Kellockbank) and the Williamston Junction.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out using an overnight convoy between 6.30pm to 6.30am each night.

There will be no work over the weekend of Friday 16 and Saturday 17.

When work is taking place across the B992 Aucterless Junction local traffic will be diverted via the A920 at Kirkton of Culsalmond.

The B992 Insch Junction will remain open.

All traffic management is scheduled to be removed by 6.30am on Saturday 24.

The scheme is weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
