Turriff Town A2B Dial-A-Bus ready to return to timetabled route
The timetabled Turriff A2B bus service is set to be reinstated this month after the last bus ran in March 2020.
Lockdown forced the service, which replaced the former Turriff Circular route, to cease.
The pre-booked A2B service was able to restart in October 2020 however the timetable service continued to be unable to operate due to numerous restrictions.
With restrictions continuing to ease, it is anticipated that the timetabled service will return on Monday April 25.
Passengers will be able to board the timetabled bus (without pre-booking) from Monday to Friday at any point on the route by waiting at a bus stop or flagging down the bus if on a stretch with no bus stops.
The proposed timetable is:
10.20am and 12.20pm - High Street (Tesco)
10.25am and 12.25pm - Knockie Road
10.30am and 12.30pm - Boggieshalloch Place
10.35am and 12.35pm - High Street (Tesco)
10.40am and 12.40pm - Highfield Walk
10.45am and 12.45pm - Delgaty Terrace
10.50am and 12.50pm - Cowan Den
10.55am and 12.55pm - Balmellie Road
11am and 1pm - High Street (Tesco)
