As member Pat Steele commented: "Two celebrations in six months, we are on the lookout for another !".

The Committee was aptly dressed in Union Jack scarves and tie accessories and the two cakes cut by Bob Rae, chairman and Joyce Beaton, secretary were thoroughly enjoyed by the appreciative audience.

The special guest, a resident of Fyvie, was Boris the Corgi who charmed the audience and was photographed beside the Queen .

They included accordionists Andy Coutts, Brian Stainger, Stan Flett, Garry Anderson, Scott Nicol; Fiddlers, Alison Young and Lesley Edmond, mouthie player, Dennis Shepherd, Bill Adams on spoons ably accompanied by pianist, Suzie Elrick.

The Tom Orr Trio were guests for the evening, with Tom on accordion, Scott Gordon on drums and Dennis Morrison on keyboard.

Their lively varied programme of waltzes, reels, polkas and pipe marches were interspersed with sing-alongs, keeping the participating audience in fine fettle.

Tom moved to the keyboard, allowing accordionists Garry Anderson and Scott Nicol to take the lead with Scott Gordon on drums and this quartet took the audience by storm with their great selection of roof raising music.

All good things come to an end and all too soon it was time for the stramash.

The musicians gathered on stage and a tremendous stramash ensued, much to the delight of the audience who requested an encore.

A great end to a super night of music and celebrations.

Compère Bill thanked everyone for their attendance and support inviting them back to the next meeting on July 7 in the Royal British Legion Hall in Fyvie with guest artistes, John Stuart SDB.

A great welcome awaits players and non players of all ages at the popular club.
