Members and guests at Ellon Legion recently enjoyed an evening of music and dancing with the Ally Ross Swing Band, featuring Sid Weaver and Rhonda Pirie.

The band entertained everyone with a rich mix of swing, pop classics, light jazz and popular dance numbers.

The audience showed its appreciation through applause and cheering.

The loudest cheer, however, was reserved for weel-kent Ellon talent Alan Moir who guested with a couple of songs and showed himself to be in great voice and making a strong recovery from a recent illness.

The Legion is beginning to usher in a new era of entertainment after the disruption of the past two years and is continually experimenting with bands old and new as well as some different styles of entertainment and events.
