It's a busy weekend once again with ceilidh dancing, cinema and coffee mornings taking place across the north-east

TURRIFF - Turriff Royal British Legion Women's Section will host a coffee morning on Saturday, February 24 at the Legion from 10am - noon.

Adults £3, children £1 with funds to ex-service charities.

ELLON - Digital Unity Hub Workshop at Ellon Library- Saturday 24. 10.30am - noon. Do you want to develop your digital skills? Need help to learn how to use your laptop, tablet, or phone? INSCH - Family Ceilidh Dancing, Sunday 25, 2pm - 3,30pm hosted by Insch Ceilidh Club at Insch Church Hall - £5 per family group.

TURRIFF - Turriff Silver Band will hold a coffee morning on Saturday 24 at St Andrew's Church Hall from 10am - noon. Adults £3, children £1.

NEW DEER - New Deer Boys Brigade pancake morning takes place on Saturday 24 at St Kane's Church Centre, 9.30am - 11.30am.

TARLAND - Books Abroad will host their popular Seed Swap and Potato Day on Saturday 24 at the MacRobert Hall, Tarland from 10am - 12.30pm. £2 entry with children free. Many varieties of seeds and potatoes are on offer.

LONGSIDE - A Coffee Morning will be held at the Buchan Aero Club, Longside Airfield on Saturday, 24 from 10am-2pm. All members, family and friends are invited to attend this social get-together, giving everyone a chance for a long-overdue catch-up over a cup of tea/coffee and a fine piece.

INSCH - The Miracle Club (12) Sunday 25 at 7.30pm at the Bennachie Leisure Centre. Three close friends who have never left the outskirts of Dublin (much less Ireland) get the journey of a lifetime — a visit to Lourdes, the picturesque French town and place of miracles.
