ELLON: ONE LIFE (12A) Sunday, February 4 at 6pm at the Victoria Hall. British stockbroker Nicholas Winton visits Czechoslovakia in the 1930s and forms plans to assist in the rescue of Jewish children before the onset of World War II, in an operation that came to be known as the Kindertransport. HUNTLY: Saturday, February 3, Huntly Remakery is hosting a Clothes Swap with lots of items available at Square Deal, Huntly, alongside the Huntly Farmers' Market. The Swap is on from 9am-1pm to reduce waste and save people money.
KEMNAY: Kemnay Bowling Club are holding a Scottish themed evening on Saturday 3 from 7.30pm. The evening will consist of Doric tales and music, followed by a Ceilidh afterwards. ALVAH: Alvah Parish Hall welcomes a Komedy of Errors on Sunday 4 at 2pm. Starring GERALD the gentleman juggler – Precise, short tempered and vain. WALLACE the circus trainee – Inexperienced, irreverent, and childlike.
From curtain up there is trouble. When Gerald’s juggling partner walks out on him, he asks the agency to find a suitable replacement. Enter Wallace – cue chaos. With Wallace around, Gerald will need all his years of show business experience to keep the show on track.

MONYMUSK: Monymusk Film Club will show The Great Escaper (PG) starring Glenda Jackson and Michael Caine In Monymusk Village Hall on Saturday 3. Doors open 7pm, Film starts 7.30pm. A man escapes from his care home to attend the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in France.
STONEHAVEN/ECHT: The Only Sport Scottish Amateur Cup fifth round matches take place on Saturday 3 with Stonehaven's Cowie Thistle in action against Sandys AFC (Edinburgh) at 1pm at Mineralwells Park while Echt AFCkick off at 2pm against Cupar Hearts at 2pm at Echt Park.
