600 Moray households to get a trim

Moray Council will resume cutting the grass outside 600 homes from Monday onwards.

The local authority has been tending to parks, cemeteries, housing estates and playing fields since the end of April.

Now, from Monday, it will also restart its assisted grass cutting scheme, which looks after 600 households.

In addition, it will be doing garden tidy-ups at empty council houses.

A spokesperson said: "Risk assessments have been carried out, and council staff will adhere to enhanced health and safety measures to protect themselves and residents.

"Householders will be contacted by Moray Council’s housing team regarding the arrangements for their property."
