6 Aberdeenshire events to keep you entertained this weekend

With the weather looking better this weekend, there are several diverse events going on this weekend in the north-east.

MACDUFF - Banff and Macduff Men's Shed market returns on Saturday, January 27 10am - 1pm with indoor and outdoor stalls at Macduff Men's Shed.

INSCH - North East Arts Touring are showing Barbie (12) at the Bennachie Leisure Centre on Sunday 28 at 7.30pm

Barbie and Ken are having the time of their lives in the colourful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land. However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans. All tickets £5 from www.neatshows.co.uk.

WHITEHILLS - Ballroom + Latin American beginner dance course 6-week course learning: Social Waltz, Rhythm Foxtrot and Mambo. Starting: Sunday 28 at 7.30pm At Whitehills Public Hall on Reidhaven St, Whitehills. Adults: £36 for full six-week course, due week 1 - 16 and under: £24 for full course. KINTORE - Burns Supper Fundraiser, Saturday 27 at 6.30pm at Kintore Golf club. £30 per person includes supper and music entertainment. For tickets, please contact Kenny on 07407 603175 or call at Kintore Golf Club. All proceeds go to The Bothie, Action Kintore.

PETERHEAD - Coffee morning on Saturday 27 from 10am - 2pm in aid of Peterhead Branch RAFA will be held at Buchan Aero Club, Longside Airfield. All members, family and friends are invited to attend this social get-together, giving everyone a chance for a long- overdue catch-up over a cup of tea/coffee(free refill).

TURRIFF - Fintry School parent council coffee morning takes place on Saturday 27 from 10am-12pm at The Royal British Legion, Turriff. Adults £3 Children £1.50.

And in ABERDEEN - Tartan LUG The Scottish LEGO User Group are hosting BRICK O' DEEN on Saturday 27 at Fountainhall Church (formerly Queen's Cross church), Albyn Place, Aberdeen from 10am - 4pm. £4 entry (5 and under free)
