It's a busy weekend in Aberdeenshire where good weather is still forecast, so there's plenty opportunity to get out and about and enjoy a host of events taking place.

Inverurie: Fun Charity Quiz followed by disco from DJ Dubz raising monies for the Gathimba Edwards Foundation annual building trip - Saturday, June 24 Hopeville Social Club 7.30pm start. MC, the one and only Edna Anderson from Turriff Community Singers, will lead seven rounds of questions. Quiz to finish by 9.30pm followed by raffle and then music from the young and upcoming DJ from Inverurie, DJ Dubz. £10 per person, Maximum four in a team. Turriff: Coffee Morning In aid of Turriff Nursery funds at the Royal British Legion, Saturday 24,10am-12pm, Adults - £2.50 Children - £1 Under 2s - free, raffles home bakes, lucky squares and more

Tullynessle: Friends of Old Tullynessle Kirk (nr Alford) will hold a Summer Service at Old Tullynessle Kirk on Sunday 25 at 11.45am, conducted by Rev John Cook - all welcomed.

Turriff: Turriff Tesco fundraising are hosting an Intoxicating Tea Party at Turriff United Social Club On Saturday 24, 2-6pm. Tipsy Afternoon Tea £20 (Inc. 1 cocktail or prosecco) Traditional Afternoon Tea £15. Entertainment, games and raffles, tickets available from Turriff Tesco customer service desk or Turriff United social club.

Haddo House: Sunday 25 11am-3pm, Haddo Arts presents the Community Music Day - Sing & Play "a song for haddo" with musical games

at 11am, 12:30pm and 2pm, -bring your own instruments!. Guarana Street Band workshop noon and 1.30pm. Wandering musicians and Meldrum Academy pipe band 11am-3pm.

Fyvie: Deveron District Scouts are hosting a Coffee Morning on Saturday 24 from 10am noon at Glebe House in Fyvie. Adults £2.50. Children £1.50.

Banchory: The grand reopening of Banchory Museum takes place on Saturday 24 from 11.30 am to 2pm. Explore the fascinating history of Banchory, immerse yourself in captivating exhibits that showcase the town's rich heritage, and dip into free activities for adults and children. New Pitsligo: Car boot sale at the New Pitsligo Hall from 10am-2pm on Sunday, June 25.

Huntly: Huntly FC Social Club Gents' Day Oot! Saturday, 24 - Raising money for Huntly Boys League/Huntly Girls. Starts 2pm. Tickets £30 are available from Huntly FC Social Club or www.buytickets.at/huntlyliveevents

Macduff: Banff & Macduff Men's Shed launch the new day time market Saturday from 10am-1pm, it also now runs Friday 5.30pm - 8.30pm.

Aberchirder: Marnoch Parish Church - Sunday 25, 2pm is the Songs of Praise followed by a Church Picnic. Food and Refreshments are provided so please email sally.morrison60@outlook.com if you’d like to attend.

Turriff: Haughs - Sunday 25 - Friends of the Den Wildflower Meadow Planting takes place from 11am-12pm - free and bring a cup for refreshments.
