From a choral performance to a reindeer parade, there's a lot going on in Aberdeenshire this weekend as Christmas approaches.

HADDO HOUSE - Haddo House Choral & Operatic Society presents Dr. Paul Tierney - Musical Director and Dr. Roger B. Williams MBE - Organ at the Christmas Carol Concerts.

A concert of beautiful and uplifting festive music in the atmospheric surroundings of Haddo House Chapel. - Sunday, December 10 at 2pm and 4pm and again on Saturday 16. Tickets: £16 (£5 Children) including refreshments from www.hhcos.org.uk

ELLON - Santa Sk8 Party @ Brewdog Dog Tap on Sunday 10. Head along for a festive day of skating, dancing and discoing. Two sessions at 1.30pm and 3.30pm all in the epic beer museum space. Tickets available from Bredog.

METHLICK - Methlick Conversation Cafe & Christmas Fair. Saturday 9, 12pm-3pm at the Beaton Hall, Methlick. Entry £2 Come along and join them for some Christmas shopping and a wee cuppa and festive piece.

MONYMUSK - 'A Matter of Life and Death (1946 U) The next film at Monymusk is on Saturday 9 at 7.30pm. Produced in the aftermath of the Second World War, Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger's A Matter of Life and Death (1946) stars David Niven as an RAF pilot poised between life and death, his love for the American radio operator June (Kim Hunter) threatened by medical, political and ultimately celestial forces.

ELLON- TURRIFF - Young Farmers Tractor Run starts at Ellon at 4pm on Sunday 10 as it head toward Turriff via Auchnagatt.

INVERURIE - The Reindeer Parade takes place on Saturday 9 at Market Place 2.30pm - 5.30pm. Face painting Santa's Grotto Hair braiding and more!

KINTORE - Midmill School Christmas Fayre takes place on Saturday 9 from 11am-3pm.

BANFF- Banff Castle Christmas Craft Fayre runs on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 from 10.30am-4.30pm. Some of Aberdeenshire's finest crafters bring you gifts galore. Refreshments Available/Free Admission.

INVEURRIE - INverurie's Santa Run takes place on Sunday 10. Kids Race - 10am at Strathburn School, Adults Race - 12.00pm at Market Place, Wheelchair Race - 10.30am at Strathburn School. Entry tickets from https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/.

NEW DEER - New Deer Public Hall, Sunday, December 10 at 2pm - showing of West Side Story (12) . Two youngsters from rival New York City gangs fall in love, but tensions between their respective friends build toward tragedy. Tickets £5 available from www.neatshows.co.uk.

INVERURIE - Inverurie Choral Society presents - Christmas is Coming! on Saturday 9 at 6.30pm in the Acorn Centre with special guests Aberdeenshire Saxophone Orchestra Tickets £10 (£7 early-bird) online from TicketSource or at the door.

PETERHEAD - Drop in and decorate Christmas Crafts this Saturday 9 at The Space, Drummer Corner from 12pm to 3pm for ages between 12 and 25 years.
