There really is something for everyone on this weekend in the north-east !

INVERURIE - Saturday April 20, Daffodil Tea Fundraiser at No3 High Street, 2pm -4pm. £3 adult, £1.50 children in aid of Inverurie Community Partnership.

TURRIFF - Sunday 21 - An afternoon with Jimmy Nicol at Turriff United from 1pm. Tickets £20 from Turriffunitedsocialclub@gmail.com or the Facebook page.

MACDUFF - Macduff Men’s Shed car boot sale takes place at the shed on Sunday 21 from 10am - 1pm. Priced £10 per car. Contact 07988 975615 to book.

ELLON - Wrestlezone makes its way to the Victoria Hall in Ellon on Saturday, 20 for the final stop on the road to Aberdeen Anarchy. All your WrestleZone favourites such as Lost Boy Aspen, Caleb Valhalla, Damien and Mikkey Vago are confirmed to appear! VIP tickets priced £15 are available which gain you early entry to the venue, best seats in the house and a bonus VIP match. General admission tickets priced £12 are also available. Doors at the venue open at 6pm for VIP ticket holders and 6.30pm for general ticket holders. Tickets are available now.

TURRIFF - Saturday 20 - Doric Day at the Heritage Museum in Turriff. The event runs from 10am till 3.30pm with guests Robert Lovie (10am), Moira Stewart and Doug Hay (11am), Jackie Ross (1pm) and the school’s competition winners at 2pm.Entry is by donation.

CUMINESTOWN - Monquhitter Bowling Club opening of the green takes place at 2pm on Sunday 21. All welcomed to come and give bowling a try.

ELLON - Ellon Bowling Club is hosting an open come along and try session on Saturday 20 from 11am till 2pm.All ages and experience welcomed (flat shoes only please).

GARTLY - Teddy Bear’s Picnic takes place on Sunday 21 at the Tin Hut, Gartly from 3pm to 5pm. Bring your bear along. priced £5 for children. Tickets from 01466 720234 or helen@myticefarm.co.uk

TURRIFF - As part of the fundraising efforts for the charity day this Saturday 20 Turriff Thistle are holding a silent auction which will close at 11am. Silent Auction items are -Squad Signed Celtic 23/24 Away Top; Squad Signed Scotland 150th Anniversary Top; Bojan Miovski Signed “Northern Lights” Away Top; Colin Hendry Signed Scotland Top All bids to be made via Turriff Thistle Facebook Messenger and all funds raised will be donated to Men United.

MAUD - Maud FC Social Club Quiz Night take place at the club on Saturday 20 to raise funds for the upkeep of the park. Tickets priced £10 for teams of four. Quiz starts at 7.30pm with suppers available from 5pm.

And don’t forget you still have three showings of the acclaimed This is Memorial Device which you can catch at Aberdeen’s Lemon Tree on Friday and Saturday.

RHYNIE - Rhynie Community Cafe will be held on Wednesday 24 from 9:30am - 10:30am at Rhynie Primary School and all are welcomed.
