It's all go this weekend in Aberdeenshire with stars of Emmedale set to take over Inverurie for the Big Bash on Saturday, but elsewhere, there's lots going on -
Insch - Insch Strawberry Fair returns on Sunday from 12pm-4.30pm with a a full programme of events including the City of Aberdeen Pipe Band, Critter Keeper. Leanne Macveigh Dance Academy, Magic School and the Dunnydeer Hill Race. Music will be provided from the Strathbogie Fiddlers and City of Aberdeen Pipe Band throughout the afternoon. Join the fun with Strawberries from Barra Berries and local Mackie's Ice Cream, Afternoon Tea, Hog Roast, Krispy Kreme Donuts adn BBQ as well as a host of stalls and activities including Lazer Quest (age 8+), Dino Run (age 1-5) and Gladiator Duel (age 6+).
Methlick - LEAF Farm Open Sunday takes place at Ardo Christmas Trees, Little Ardo, Methlick AB41 7HS from 10am -4pm. From farm to Festive - learn how trees are grown, tour the site, see the machinery in action and see the display of vintage tractors, craft stands and food stalls for more details visit https://www.facebook.com/ardochristmastrees
Kintore - Kintore Senior Citizens Club concert featuring Eddie Rose with Garioch Blend and Company in Kintore Public Hall on Saturday, June 10, 2pm-5pm. Tickets £10 including refreshments from Meg on 01467 632455 or 07565 503384.
Inverurie - Inverurie Choral Society 25th anniversary concert takes place on Saturday at 7pm, Acorn Centre, West High Street, Inverurie. Tickets £12, from Butterfly Fabrics. Inverurie (cash only)
Turriff - Turriff and District Community Council Coffee Morning takes place at the Legion 10am -12pm. Adults £3, children 50p.
Crathes - Crathes Charity Horse and Dog Show in aid of Equine Grass Sickness Fund will be returning to the Milton Of Crathes events field on Sunday, 11. Visit https://www.facebook.com/CrathesCharityShow for details of event times.
New Deer - New Deer Family Gala takes place at the showfield from 1pm-4pm - face painting, bouncy castle, stalls, teas, races and fancy dress parade.
Alford - Alford Heritage Museum tractor run leaves at 11am on Sunday and will head out around the local area - so watch out for them!.
Cuminestown - Cuminestown Art Group annual exhibition takes place the community hall on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday 11 from 10am - 4pm. Artwork includes local painting, photographs and crafts for sale. Entry £2.
Inverurie - Inverurie Antique, collectors and upcycling fair returns on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 from10am to 4pm at the Garioch Heritage Centre. Over 14 dealers from throughout the north-east.
