There's plenty of events going in the north-east as the schools break-up for Easter -
Monymusk - Monymusk Village Hall host a Daffodil tea in aid of FROM Scotland (Famine Relief for Orphans in Malawi) from 2pm - 4pm.
Alford - Carboot sellers and collectors can head to the opening weekend fundraiser at the Alford Heritage Museum which runs from 9.30am till noon outside the museum.
Methlick - Methlick Parish Church invites everyone to join them this Sunday at 10am as they make our way from the Beaton Hall along to the kirk for a family friendly service at 10.30am, recreating Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, complete with a donkey

Oldmeldrum - Methlick and Bourtie Heritage Fly Cup and Photo Exhibition runs on Sunday, April 2 from 2pm - 4pm at the Royal British Legion.
The legion museum will be open and members of the Aberdeen and Northern Family History Society will be attending along with displays on local history.
Bennachie - The Bennachie Visitor Centre reopens for the season and welcomes walkers and visitors to the historic hillside.
Insch - Insch Church Hall on Western Road hosts a daffodil tea from 10am -12 and Saturday, will all welcomed.
Crudie - Come and join Belinda at the cattery on Saturday to create a nature reserve wood, to be enjoyed by the local community for generations to come.

Turriff - The Down Syndrome Scotland coffee morning takes place on Saturday, April 1 from 10am - noon at the Legion - raffles, lucky squares, homebakes and a selcton of Easter gifts on offer.
Pitmedden - Swap Shop! returns on Sunday, April 2 in the Quarry Room at The Medan Centre. Pop in anytime between 10am and 3pm.
Take along any items to swap or just pop in and take items away.
Lumsden - Lambing day takes place on Sunday, April 2 from 11am - 3pm at Boghead Farm AB54 4LE
Come and meet the newborn lambs and get a chance to cuddle and even feed a lamb. Refreshments served and donations to Scottish Charity Air Ambulance.
The lambs are all inside but it’s advised to wear warm clothing and wellies.
Gartly - Gartly Toddlers Playgroup will take place on Tuesday, April 4 in the newly refurbished Gartly Community Hall (aka the Tin Hut)🎉
There will be a weekly session every Tuesday from 10.15am - 11.45am, open to any under 5s accompanied by an adult.
Cost is £2 per adult per session, which includes tea, coffee, juice and biscuits.
