Thousands of visitors and whisky enthusiasts will flock to the area for four days of whisky, good food, music and entertainment.

Distilleries across the area will stage a series of specials events, tastings and tours.

The festival provides a major boost to the Speyside economy and has become one of the world’s premier whisky festivals.

Businesses in Keith have embraced the event, with many putting on whisky-related window displays, and there are a number of events taking place in the town.

The Keith-Dufftown Railway Association is running whisky special trains during the festival.
