Police confirm second body is Rosemary Laing

POLICE Scotland has confirmed that a second body recovered in the area of Bridge of Sourden, near Rothes was that of missing pensioner Rosemary Laing.

An extensive search had involved police, coastguard and police dog handlers.

Mrs Laing (77) was reported missing on Wednesday from her home in Rothes.

A first body discovered on Thursday was that of 85-year-old Kathleen Edward from Aberlour.
