Police appeal over collision with 11-year-old girl

POLICE in Keith are appealing for information following a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and an 11-year-old girl.

The incident is reported to have occurred at around 3.10pm on Tueday, May 5 on Seafield Avenue, at the top of the road where it meets the junction to the A96.

The youngster was crossing the road when she was struck on the thigh by an orange ‘jeep type’ car.

The girl did not sustain serious injuries as a result of the collision.
