Kris Niddrie caught up in Texas flooding

A FORMER Keith FC player has been caught up in the flooding in Houston, USA.

Kris Niddrie, who made over 300 appearances for the Highland League side, lives and works in the city.

"We are OK. we are safe and dry now. We have been so lucky as we have only lost out cars. We have many friends who have lost everything," he told the Banffshire Herald.

"The communities are starting to pull together to help those who have been less fortunate."

Kris works as a project engineering manager for Subsea 7 and moved to the States in 2013.
