Keith is the purr-fect place for new vet

KEITH the friendly toon has extended a warm welcome to the town’s new vet.

Bostjan Tonov (38), from Slovenia, moved to Keith four weeks ago to join the team at Seafield Veterinary Practice.

Mr Tonov said: "The staff here have been brilliant and have all been very helpful. I have needed their help to find a few farms.

"The farmers here are all very nice. It’s a busy time just now and I have already been involved with lambing and calving. I have been enjoying meeting clients at the surgery too, as I work with a mixture of animals, both large and small.

"My time here has been perfect. I am happy to be here. I like helping animals and everyone is really nice."
