EXPERTS from Historic Scotland will host a technical seminar on conservation of traditional buildings in Keith.

Organised by Elgin and Keith CARS (conservation area regeneration schemes), the event is suitable for property owners, contractors and building professionals and is free.

It takes place on June 4 from 9.30am in the Longmore Hall. Booking is essential; email kirsty.conti@moray.gov.uk or call 01343 563656.

Later in the month, on June 24 from 6.30-8.30pm in the Longmore Hall, there will be an informal talk and practical demonstration on the use of lime on sandstone buildings.

Tutors Andrew Bradley and Craig Frew will welcome discussion on individual properties and will be happy to offer advice and answer questions.
