Keith: St Rufus, Bortriphnie, and Grange Church has filmed a 90-second recruitment video, as we revealed last week.

Well, that has gathered feedback from across the world, with interest from America and Canada.

The congregation has been searching for a new minister for 18 months following the departure of Rev Kay Gauld to Insch.

They decided to adopt a fresh approach and hired a professional film-maker to record the life of the church, including the Christmas fair.

Vacancy committee secretary Esther Green said: "We have received lots of positive feedback, with comments coming from as far afield as America and Canada.

"Whether the film helps us to get a new minister remains to be seen. We won't be giving up though."

Rev Kay Gauld said: "The video is a great idea and it is lovely to see such a wide age of smiling faces on it."
