A WEEKEND of Easter fun was on the timetable for young passengers on the Keith-Dufftown Railway.
The Easter Bunny was there as the volunteer heritage railway enjoyed its annual Easter egg-stravaganza.
The children came along with their cuddly toys and could win themselves chocolate eggs.
This was the start of a busy few months for the most northerly heritage railway in the UK.
From May 2-5 the railway will be part of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
Over that weekend trains will tie in with distillery visits as part of the festival. There will also be whisky sampling on board, shortbread and on certain trains a live ceilidh band.
A pie and pint evening will go from Dufftown to Keith on Friday, June 7.
Then on June 15-16 passengers will be transported back in time to the 1940s, with staff dressing up in costume from that era.
If you go down to the station from August 2-4 children are sure of a big surprise with the teddy bears’ weekend. Find out more at www.keith-dufftown-railway.co.uk
