Drummuir couple feature on 'The Mart'

A DRUMMUIR farming couple are among the stars of the latest series of the popular BBC documentary series, 'The Mart' on BBC One Scotland.

Samantha Stewart and husband Philip, who farm at Butterybrae near Keith, own rar Zwartbles sheep.

They were featured selling some of their animals at the rare breeds sale at Thainstone agricultural centre.

This was the second episode in the second series of the Monday night programme.

Thainstone, at Inverurie, is one of Europe's largest livestock markets and is also one of the largest co-operatives in Scotland with 5000 members.
