Driver's miraculous escape

A DRIVER had a miraculous escape when a truck ploughed into the back of his vehicle.

The man was cutting grass on the A96 between Keith and Huntly when a collision occurred.

Half a tonne of metal pipes from the pick up went flying through the rear and then front windscreen of the tractor cab.

The driver was trapped in his seat by the pipes but escaped with only minor injuries.

Fire crews from Huntly, Keith and Aberchirder raced to the scene.
