Kintore will be lit up from this Saturday

The team behind Kintore's Christmas lights want to thank everybody who has supported their fundraising efforts this year - by popping the lights on for longer this festive period.

Plans are already in place for the Christmas Lights Switch On event on Saturday December 7 - which will feature Kintore Pipe Band, Kemnay Academy Concert Band, a sing-a-long with Kintore Parish Church and hopefully a visit from Mr Claus himself - however the lights will in fact illuminate the village from this Saturday, November 30.

This will not be an official event, but is just a way to give something back to everyone who has generously contributed towards getting new festive lights throughout the village.
