THE FRIDAY Drop In Cafe at Kintore has celebrated its first anniversary.

Held in the Church Hall and run by a small team of volunteers, they support the Aberdeenshire North Foodbank through the collection of food donations and fundraising events.

The Drop In Cafe runs on most Fridays in term-time from 9.30am until 11.30am, with home bakes, teas and coffees being available and all ages are welcomed.

The next fundraiser for the local foodbank will be on Tuesday, December 3 between 7.30pm until 9pm and will consist of a Christmas wreath and decoupage workshop in the Kintore Church Hall and refreshments are included in the £10 entry.

The Drop In Cafe has also supported Christian Aid and Toilet Twinning charities over the past year as well.
