A LARGE gathering filled the function suite for the Age Scotland Inverurie Christmas meal which was held at the Kintore Arms Hotel in Inverurie.

There were some surprise young visitors too in the form of members from the local units of the Girl Guides, Brownies and Rainbows who handed out specially made cards and small presents to the guests.

Leader of 3rd Rainbows, Sandra Burr said: "We set them a challenge to make 200 Christmas cards in a given time, and they made 300, which they have delivered to members of the community".
