A CAROL singing by candlelight gathering filled Inverurie's Wyness Hall on Sunday evening.

Hosted by the Catalyst Vineyard Church, people of all ages joined the singing accompanied by the Worship band led by Chris Morton and there were old favourite carols and some new ones as well.

The church now has many sites all over Aberdeenshire and its vision is to be a growing, worshipping community.

The carols were interspersed with appropriate readings and prayers and the evening was rounded off with hot drinks, mince pies and shortbread.

The Catalyst Vineyard Church's next main charity event is a ceilidh at the Thainstone Centre on Friday, January 31.
