The John Deere tractor was found on fire at Pirriesmill Farm, Drumblade.

The fire happened at around 5am on Saturday, July 30.

No one was injured as a result of the fire but the tractor was extensively damaged and there was a small amount of damage to surrounding buildings.

PC Hamish Wallace said: "This tractor was stolen from the Blairgowrie area on July 24 and we would like to speak to anyone who has information regarding the fire or who saw the tractor parked at the farm in the days prior to the fire.

"We are also particularly keen to trace the occupants of a silver people carrier type vehicle seen in the area at the time. Anyone with information can contact the police on 101."
