Police appeal after driver fails to stop

POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a vehicle failed to stop after a collision on the A920 Oldmeldrum to Colpy road near to East Fingask.

The incident happened at around 3.15pm on Wednesday, February 10 February and invovled a black Vauxhall Antara and a lorry believed to be green in colour carrying a John Deere tractor.

Following the collision, the lorry did stop briefly however drove off before speaking with the driver of the car.

The female driver of the car sustained minor facial injuries as a result.

It is thought the road was busy at the time of the incident and someone may have noted or recognised the lorry.
