Olympic swimmer Hannah Miley boosts Marie Curie auction

OLYMPIC swimmer Hannah Miley has supported a Huntly charity.

The Inverurie swmimmer narrowly missed out on a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics in the 400m individual medley.

The 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games gold medallist has given a massive boost to the Huntly branch of Marie Curie.

They have been given a swimsuit signed by Hannah for an auction in October hosted by Huntly Football Club.

Alison Nicoll, co-ordinator of the Marie Curie fundraisers in Huntly, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to have such a special item to auction for our cause, especially since Hannah is very much looked upon as a local girl."
