Two fire and rescue teams from Huntly raced to the scene, near to the Cairnhill Farm entrance, after receiving an alert at 7.25am.

The people in the car managed to get themselves clear but the lorry driver had to be freed by firefighters.

The occupants of both vehicles suffered a variety of injuries - but none are believed to be life threatening.
