Huntly dancer takes to stage in Hansel and Gretel

A YOUNG Huntly dancer takes to the stage with Scottish Ballet's Hansel and Gretel on Wednesday, January 18.

Charlotte Stewart has been training with Scottish Ballet since August.

Charlotte Stewart (11), will be part of the children's cast for the show which is at His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen from January 18-21 and then at Eden Court in Inverness for four days from January 25.

Charlotte, a pupils of the Jessieman Dance School, has achieved premiere level in Highland dancing.

She has trained with Scottish Ballet as an junior associate since last August.

Charlotte said: "It feels very special to be performing with Scottish Ballet but as well as being excited, I am also a bit nervous."
