Elton John thrill for Huntly musician

A YOUNG man whose early musical career was nurtured in Huntly will play for Elton John and VIP guests this weekend.

Sean Gordon (30) has been selected as one of the acts to play for Sir Elton and his 450 guests before the pop legend takes to the AECC stage himself.

The concert promoters advertised for local musicians to be part of the gig and Sean sent in a You Tube clip of himself.

Sean performs cover songs from artists like Eric Clapton and Ed Sheeran.

He hopes to release his own CD later this year.

Sean will perform for Sir Elton on Saturday afternoon.
