A HEDGE trimmer was stolen in a break-in at an agricultural shed near Aberchirder.

Police Scotland is appealing for information following the incident on agricultural land in the South Street area of the village.

It is believed to have happened between 5.30pm on Friday, July 3 and 9.30am on Sunday, July 5.

The red hedge trimmer has an estimated value of low three figures.

Police are appealing for anyone with information of the crime, or who may have been approached to buy such an item, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
