NIVEN (Buckie/ Mosstodloch). Our hearts are broken by the passing of our beloved wife, mother, nanny, sister and auntie, on Tuesday, 11th August, 2020, the world lost Helen (nee Smith) aged 76, who died peacefully at home, after bravely fighting cancer for 7 months. Helen spread sunshine and joy wherever she went with her positive energy. Her most joyful memories were made with her husband David when travelling the world together, shopping with Suzanne, visiting Canada to see her son Richard, frequent day trips visiting friends and family. She grew up in Buckie and spent her later years in Mosstodloch. Helen latterly worked at Boots in Aberdeen and the Jewellery Box in Inverurie. Helen is survived by her beloved husband David, much loved mum of Richard and Suzanne, dear mother-in-law of Louise and Michael, loving sister of Alex, Peter and Ian and doting nanny of Callie and Calder. With Helen's spark and unique spirit, let us all remember her with a smile and focus on our most cherished memories with a truly remarkable woman who touched us all all with her positivity and sunshine. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu may be given to Macmillan. Regrettably the funeral will be private due to the current health guidelines.
