FARRELL - (Keith/Dundee). Margaret, Matthew, Francis, Ged's brothers and sister wish to thank everyone for the many kind expressions of sympathy during his illness and recent sad passing. Especially all the staff involved in Ged's care in Dr Gray's, ARI and Keith Health Centre, too numerous to mention, but remembered individually. Thanks also to Fr Mark Impson for receiving the remains into the church, to Rt. Rev. Bishop Hugh Gilbert for presiding at the Requiem Mass, to Fr Colin Stewart for his usual thought provoking homily, to the other clergy who concelebrated, and particularly to Fr Kingsley Chigbo, Fr Peter Ezekoka and Deacon Graeme Morrison for their tireless support, presence and comfort throughout these months. Also to Janie Farquharson and the choir for fulfilling his wishes so beautifully. Our gratitude goes to Frank McLean & Son for their professional handling of the funeral arrangements, to the Royal Hotel for the lovely teas, to Ivy & Bloom and Lotus Petal for the beautiful floral arrangements, and to Michael Collins for his excellent obituary. Our thanks to everyone who paid their respects at the service and graveside. The collection for St Thomas Maintenance Fund amounted to £1000, many thanks to all who contributed.
