School bingo night a success

The generosity of locals was on show at a local school's bingo night.

Tippery Primary School raised £106 which will go towards the purchasing of more reading books for the school.

Pupils, families and the community turned out for the fundraiser event.

Tipperty School recently held a successful fundraising bingo night which was attended by pupils, families and community members.

The School's Acting Head Teacher Claire Anne Buchan was happy with amount raised at the event.

She said: " The money will go towards purchasing books.

"I am happy with the amount that was raised."
