Weather continues to hit Buckie Harbour fish landings

POOR weather continued to hit fish landings at Buckie Harbour last week.

Marginally up on the previous week's total of 27 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and no bags of clams, some 49 boxes and no bags were brought ashore.

Landing their catches at Buckie were the vessels Our May, Laurel, Lily Oak VI and Dauntless.

A single cargo vessel called at Buckie last week, the Dutch-registered MV Anita. She imported 1406.18 tonnes of malt from Mistley on October 23 before sailing light to the North Sea for orders the following day.
