Local historian Don Anderson has put together the walking tour based on the research carried out by James George Addison and Sandra Taylor in their DVD guide to Seatown.

The tours begin on Sunday, July 7 as part of the 2019 Cullen Harbour Gala and run on selected dates until Saturday, July 13.

They start at the Royal Oak Hotel in the Seatown in Cullen and end at the historic harbour. These tours are free of charge and a word search and two quizzes for children of primary age will be provided.

On July 7, four tours are scheduled to run, getting under way at 9.30am, 11.20am, 2.30pm and finally 4.30pm.

Two tours are scheduled for both the following Tuesday and Thursday, those taking place at 9.30am and 2.30pm.

Saturday, July 13 will see the final round of tours held, with start times of 9.30am, 11.30am, 2.30am and 4.30am.

Those interested in the walking tour should meet at the Royal Oak Hotel 10 minutes before the start. Cancer support charity Clan will have a stand with volunteers to help if required both at the start and the end of each tour at the harbour.

Donations are welcome which will go to Clan.

Walkers can just turn up on the day or if wishing to book in advance please call Donald on 07756 090951.
