PUPILS at St Peter's nursery in Buckie got an unexpected break from classes when winter bugs hit.

Parents and carers were advised to keep their children at home on this afternoon (Tuesday, December 3) due to a high level of staff absence.

Moray Council's website also stated that the nursery would remain closed all day on Wednesday when the situation would be reviewed to decide if it will reopen on Thursday.
