THE first week after the festive holidays proved to be a predictably quiet one at Buckie Harbour.

Just four vessels – Our May, Boy Sam, Illustrious and Summerton – landed their catches at the quayside.

In all, some 43boxes of fish, prawns and squid alongside 50 bags of clams were brought ashore.

This compares to no landings at all the week before.

On the cargo front, no boats docked at Buckie last week with two visiting the harbour the previous week.
