Slow week of fish landings at Buckie Harbour

IT was another quiet week on the fish landings front at Buckie Harbour as the festive holidays wound down.

A total of 159 boxes of fish/prawns/squid were landed and no bags of clams, which compares to no landings to all the previous week.

The vessels bringing their catches ashore at Buckie were Our May, Chloe Ella and Lily Oak VI

One cargo boat visited Buckie last week, the MV Danica Hav (Bahamas) which imported 1673.04 tonnes of malt from King's Lynn on January before sailing light to the North Sea for orders.
