Sharp rise in fish landings at Buckie Harbour

FISH landings at Buckie Harbour more than doubled last week compared to the week before.

Four vessels took 430 bags of fish/prawns/squid ashore and no bags of clams. This compares to 197 boxes and 48 bags in the previous seven-day period.

The boats landing were Good Fellowship, Lily Oak VI, Pegasus and Boy Sam.

One cargo vessel called at Buckie Harbour last week, the Antiguan-registered MV Baltica Hav, importing approximately 1603 tonnes of malt from Mistley on Friday, April 7.
