ALL the fun of the fair is set to return to Buckie when Peter Fair comes to town.
The annual extravaganza will be back at its usual field in Rathven over Wednesday-Friday July 26-28.
The gates are set to open on Wednesday at 6.30pm, the evening running until 10pm. The following two days will see the festivities get under way at 1.30pm, also finishing at 10pm, with a large crowd expected for the traditionally busy Friday evening.
Organisers Horne's Pleasure Fairs are looking to provide something for all the family. Among the main rides scheduled to attend are the Freak Out, Fast 'n' Furious, Music Express, Move It and the waltzers.
Also, there will be a selection of rides for the younger visitors to the fair.
No fair would be complete with the usual stalls, where prizes of all sorts can be won, and a variety of games, too.
For the peckish, there will be a choice of food stalls on hand.
Christian Horne, from Horne's Pleasure Fairs, said he was hoping the weather would play ball for the three-day event.
He said: "It's not been great weather for the start of the summer season so hopefully that'll change when we come to Buckie.
"We are delighted to be the organiser for one of Scotlands oldest funfairs at Rathven Market, we can't wait to be back."
